Richard Tiburcio Campbell
Richard Campbell is an attorney at the Environmental Protection Agency's Office of Regional Council in San Francisco, where his duties primarily involve enforcement of the Clean Water Act and Safe Drinking Water Act. Before joining EPA in 2003, Richard practiced environmental and water law for six years in Phoenix, Arizona, representing home builders and various commerical interests. While in Arizona, Richard also represented American Rivers with regard to water law matters associated with securing legal rights to instream flows in the Tonto National Forest. Richard also currently serves on the City of Pacifica's Planning Commission and is currently vice-chair of the City's Green Building Ordinance Taskforce. Richard is also a Senior Fellow with the Environmental Leadership Program, a non-profit dedicated to providing training and opportunities for collaboration to persons working on environmental issues in the non-profit, private, and government sectors. Mr. Campbell offered pro-bono attorney services from 1997-2003 working in Arizona and Guatemala. Mr. Campbell provides pro bono legal advice to AHN.
 
   
 
 
Daniel Fernandez
Daniel (Danny) is a Licensed Real Estate Broker in San Francisco, California working with Zephyr Real Estate. He is also a sales representative for the medical supply company JedMed. Mr. Fernandez received his BA in Landscape Architecture from the University of California, Davis (1999). Danny is also an accomplished artist and sculptor with past exhibits of his works in New York and throughout California. Danny is currently an active member with the Sierra Club. Mr. Fernandez has traveled extensively and has visited many developing countries.
 
       
 
Dr. Elizabeth Garcia
Dr. Elizabeth Garcia is an Obstetrician/Gynecologist in private practice in Albuquerque, New Mexico where she has served in both clinical and administrative roles. She attended University of Alabama School of Medicine where she led an AIDS Education Program and received teaching awards in her residency training at George Washington Medical Center in Washington, D.C. She currently serves on a local Charter School Council and attempts to keep up with her active children. She enjoys biking, hiking, and traveling with her family.
 
   
 
 
Dr. Ramey Littell
Ramey Littell is a Gynecologic Oncologist with The Permanente Medical Group in San Francisco, California. Dr. Littell earned his undergraduate degree from Wake Forrest University (1992) and attended medical school and residency at the University of Florida College of Medicine (1996-2000). He completed a fellowship in Gynecologic Oncology at Massachusetts General Hospital in 2005. Dr. Littell is an active member of the Society of Gynecologic Oncologists, American Congress of Obstetrician and Gynecologists and the American Society of Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology. Dr. Littell’s motivation for joining the AHN team stems from a cross-cultural experience that he gained through volunteer medical service in Ecuador and Nicaragua.
 
   
 
 
Steven Schmidbauer
Steve is currently the Executive Director of Child Family Health International (CFHI), a position he has held since 2004. Prior to 2004, he served six years as a program manager and director for one of the largest child and family service agencies in California, where his work in innovative program development was recognized at state and national levels. Steve received the Certificate in Nonprofit Management from the California State University at Hayward in 1998. Prior to working in California, Steve was a volunteer teacher in (1982-1985) and from 1990-1993, he worked to support international relief efforts in Central and South America. Steve holds a B.A. in Journalism, Broadcasting, and Speech from the State University of New York College at Buffalo, and a M.Div. from the University of Toronto. Steve travels extensively, making annual visits to CFHI sites worldwide.
