In 2008, The AHN team set out to build a non-profit that would be the most effective in helping to improve the health of the people of Africa. With this thought in mind, we discussed many potential initiatives. We first decided on one that speaks to the potential of ingenuity and embraces cutting edge technologies in our Green Initiative. We also concluded, based on our observations and research, that there is already a formidable number of non-profits and NGO’s working in Africa. Because of this, the AHN team decided we could be most effective in increasing health outcomes by offering services to existing health-related NGO’s working in Africa that help them better utilize their resources. This idea resulted in our Capacity Building and Logistical Support Initiatives.

Our staff and board of directors are made up of a diverse group of dedicated
professionals each with varied experiences and expertise that contribute uniquely to the vision and actualization of AHN programs and services.

Africa continues to struggle and suffers from an unimaginable level of poverty. We believe that by creating opportunities for better health we create opportunities for a better life and self-sufficiency. The entire AHN team would like to thank you for your involvement and continued support for African Health Net as we strive to make a lasting and positive impact on both the environment and the lives of the African people.
